SINGING
As I like to say, I sing everything from Opera to Tom Waits – and I love it all. I love the breadth of expression that using every aspect of my singing voice can deliver. And I love engaging with audiences as a conduit – I feel it’s my vocation to 1) imagine HOW and WHY a piece was originally created, and for what audience; and 2) to use all of my training, knowledge, experience, research, exploration, and imagination to make that material live again, in all the best possible ways, for my audience, now.
As a BARITONE / BASS-BARITONE / BASS soloist, in addition to all of the singing specifically listed here, I’ve sung literally hundreds of weddings, funerals, and special events. These are some of my favorite experiences as a singer, as I love to devote myself to how live singing can heighten the magic of every major life event. I’m also an ordained minister, so this is a very important aspect of my vocation as a Soul Worker/Singing Artist.
